At Louve Dog Rescue 501(c) Not for Profit we find dogs at kill shelters that demonstrate a propensity for Law Enforcement, Service Dog and or jobs that support the community.
Each dog will have a soft place to land to healing from shelter stress and able to create a human working bond, quality meals, off leash free running, positive obedience training in a home setting. Through a positive experience every dog can learn the tools for true socialization complimenting their future.
No dog left behind. At Louve Dog Rescue each dog selected will not go back into the shelter system. A dog that wants to work we will find them a position that will help them be their best. A dog that ends up not desiring a working position will be given proper loving obedience and placed in a permeant loving home. Save a life is always the fore front of every dog rescue and at Louve Dog Rescue saving a working dog from becoming a bored pet from kill shelters is our mission.

One Dog at a Time is how K9JenniferSharpe is able to focus on guiding Onyx who is showing a commitment to nose work detection. He loves to sniff and find. At this time he is working on explosive detection and is happily excelling! Onyx was on the euthanize list and had less than an hour. When shelters have to make the hardest of decisions even after giving each pet a chance and with so many other dogs and cats coming in some just are not adopted. But though Lourve Dog Rescue Onyx has a chance and so do you! BECOME a part of his future.
